Ed Mell is a true American painter inspired by the Colorado Plateau and Sonoran Desert. The ever changing skies, landscapes, and that lives within this region are subjects Mell describes with sophistication of design and palette.

Throughout his career Ed Mell has occasionally worked three-dimensionally. Starting with a clay original he shapes angular forms depicting elements living within this region's landscape. All sculptures are cast in bronze and based on marble.
